AR PRIZE LIST

This year, students will receive dog tags as AR prizes for the following levels/goals:

Point Goals of 5, 10, 15, 20, 25,

50, 75, 100, 125, and 150 points.

Meeting Q1, Q2, Q3, and Q4 goals.

Students must have 85% correct in order

to meet their goals and receive their tags.

MILLIONAIRE'S CLUB!

WHO WILL BE THE FIRST MEMBER OF THE
MILLIONAIRE'S CLUB FOR 2010-2011???

The Millionaire's Club is for students who read 1,000,000 or more words. This club is mostly geared toward 4th and 5th graders because one of their English/Language Arts standards is, "The student consistently reads at least twenty-five books or book equivalents (approximately 1,000,000 words) each year. The materials should include traditional and contemporary literature (both fiction and non-fiction) as well as magazines, newspapers, textbooks, and electronic material. Such reading should represent a diverse collection of material from at least three different literary forms and from at least five different writers."

However, the Millionaire's Club is open to any student who achieves the million-word goal! Students in this club will attend a luncheon/party at the end of the school year. The students' photos will also be displayed in the media center.
